Directed by Academy Award® winner Steven Spielberg, JAWS set the standard for edge-of-your-seat suspense, quickly becoming a cultural phenomenon and forever changing the movie industry. When the seaside community of Amity finds itself under attack by a dangerous great white shark, the town’s chief of police, a young marine biologist and a grizzled shark hunter embark on a desperate quest to destroy the beast before it strikes again. Featuring an unforgettable score that evokes pure terror, Jaws remains one of the most influential and gripping adventures in motion picture history.
Now for the first time, audiences will have the chance to experience the power of a live symphony orchestra performing the entire score in sync with one of the greatest motion pictures of all time.

Drift among the stars with the Boston Pops as we traverse the vast reaches of the universe in a multimedia program that explores the intersection of music, space, and science fiction. This concert, developed in partnership with the Museum of Science and its Center for Space Sciences, will feature a special guest narrator to be announced.

Disney's Frozen in Concert

Fearless optimist, Princess Anna, sets off on an epic journey – teaming up with rugged mountain man, Kristoff, and his loyal reindeer Sven – to find her sister Elsa, whose icy powers have trapped the kingdom of Arendelle in eternal winter. Encountering Everest-like conditions, mystical trolls, and a hilarious snowman named Olaf, Anna and Kristoff battle the elements in a race to save the kingdom. Voices include Kristen Bell (Anna), Jonathan Groff (Kristoff), Idina Menzel (Elsa), Josh Gad (Olaf), Santino Fontana (Hans), Alan Tudyk (Duke of Weselton). The film received the Academy® Award for Best Animated Feature.

The Jerry Garcia Symphonic Celebration will make its return to Symphony Hall for two special performances commemorating 60 years of the Grateful Dead and Garcia’s enduring legacy. The program features an all-star lineup including keyboardist and Jerry Garcia Band member Melvin Seals; singer and Jerry Garcia Band member Jacklyn LaBranch, bassist; Dead & Company and Allman Brothers Band member Oteil Burbridge, guitarist; Guitarist/songwriter and Joe Russo’s Almost Dead member Tom Hamilton; drummer John Morgan Kimock; and vocalist Lady Chi.
