Office Notes - June 2023

Excited to have you back in our office and on campus! (Photo with Barbara Barron, BSAV member)

Hello BSAV Members!

Wow – thank you to everyone for all you have done to have such a wonderful Symphony Season, and also to get things off the ground and running here at Tanglewood! The BSAV has already clocked over 5,000 hours this season, and the number is quickly climbing as concerts start here at Tanglewood.

Just a reminder to please email bsav@bso.org with any questions and also to….check the portal!

So everyone is in the know, these are the project changes for this summer at Tanglewood:

New Project: Parking Hosts

Reinstated Projects: Exhibit Docents, Tanglewood for Families (including lawn games, temporary tattoos, instrument playgrounds with strings and percussion)

Retired projects: TMC Lunch Club, Seranak Flowers

As I always stress, the BSO and Tanglewood is an ever-evolving and changing organism! We must do this to stay relevant and respond to the market. In our case, change is GOOD and what you want to see!

I look forward to challenging you all to a mean game of cornhole or Connect Four on the lawn. Thank you to all Boston volunteers for a wonderful season, and thank you in advance to Tanglewood volunteers for a season to come!

All best,

Erin
