Highlights from November 30, 2022 Executive Committee Meeting

Hear from Lisa Mafrici on updates to the most recent Executive Committee meeting.
  • Fundraising activities for the Company Celebration at Pops concert, as well as the push for other year-end donations, were going very well at present.
  • Results of the BSAV Survey were discussed. While the results of the survey did not reveal any major surprises, there were some common themes around increasing communication and training.
  • Much joy was expressed on the return of the Hall Tours and Instrument Playground activities in Boston, and hopefulness that many activities that had been eliminated during Covid will resume at Tanglewood as well.
  • Jesse Needleman, Senior Director of Marketing and Brand, shared updates including:

1) positive ticket sales for the year

2) enhancements to the Holiday Pops sensory experience for patrons

3) ongoing market research activities to expand the BSO audience, with the goal of launching the new branding strategy for the 2023/24 season.
