Risher Reddick is a theater artist of many stripes with roots in Boston, Pittsburgh, and Chicago. He cut his teeth as an actor working with many regional theaters including Shakespeare & Company, American Repertory Theater, and Actors’ Shakespeare Project. From 2007 to 2012 Risher produced, directed, and acted in plays with his theater company, Orfeo Group, garnering praise from audiences and critics alike and winning three Elliot Norton Awards for outstanding production. These days Risher works primarily as a director, reimagining classics and devising new plays in both professional and academic settings. Risher holds a BFA in acting from Boston University and an MFA in directing from Northwestern University. He lives in Northampton, Massachusetts, with his wife, Sarah, and dog, Charlie.
