Michael Bradley
About
Michael W. Bradley has been an active member of the arts community both locally and abroad for over 15 years. He attended Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts, where he graduated with a B.M. in Music Education. Bradley currently chairs the music department and serves on the voice faculty of Boston Arts Academy, where he teaches vocal technique, music theory, contemporary vocal ensembles, and the award-winning Spirituals Ensemble. The Spirituals, who have achieved top rankings at national music festivals, have appeared at the American Choral Directors Association Eastern Division Conference in March 2024. This year, the Spirituals released three albums which charted at #1 on the Classical and Classical Crossover Billboard Charts and will appear in festivals in Atlanta, GA, and at Carnegie Hall in New York City. He continues to maintain an active schedule as a composer, arranger, performer, and director in the fields of choral and gospel music. Prior to his work at the Boston Arts Academy, Bradley worked as a general music and choral director in Boston and Cambridge Public Schools respectively and was the Director of Secondary Choral and Instrumental Education and Theater Studies for the Gill-Montague Regional School District. Bradley's choirs have had the opportunity to compete and place in national competitions and perform for such prominent figures as Yo-Yo Ma, Damien Woetzel, and at the White House for First Lady Michelle Obama. In addition to his work in public education, Bradley has served in Worship Ministry for the last 18 years in ministries in New England and South Carolina. Bradley has founded a worship and arts consulting firm called Motif Creative Services, whose purpose is to strengthen the administrative and liturgical practices and systems of worship and production teams of churches of all sizes.
