Mark Ludwig

Mark Ludwig is Founding Director of Terezín Music Foundation (terezinmusic.org) and a member of the Pamatník Terezín Advisory Board. A Fulbright scholar of the Terezín composers and art, Mr. Ludwig has authored essays, the nationally adopted Holocaust curriculum Finding A Voice, and most recently, the critically acclaimed book Our Will To Live: The Terezín Music Critiques of Viktor Ullmann (Steidl Verlag 2022). He produces recordings, concerts and Holocaust and genocide education programs worldwide. Ludwig is a violist emeritus of the Boston Symphony Orchestra, adjunct professor of Holocaust music at Boston College and editor of the poetry anthology Liberation (Beacon Press 2015).
