Francois Bessing is a Bass-Baritone of Puerto Rican and Cameroonian lineage. Francois grew up in Washington, D.C. where the dedication to history and art inspired him to pursue a career in performance. Francois studied voice at Kutztown University and in conservatory at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London. Francois most recently performed the Bass solos in Mozart’s Requiem with the Rochester Oratorio Society, the role of Simon in Haydn’s The Seasons and a Department of Defense Agent in an Independent Movie. Francois is a passionate writer and recently completed his first play which is to be workshopped Summer 2023 with The Avenue Blackbox Theatre in Rochester, NY. Francois enjoys cooking, taking nature walks, spending time with his niece and nephews, playing chess, and trying food from all around the world. Francois’ future aspirations include sharing his stories of redemption, grace, and healing stages to streaming services around the world.
