Dennis Roy
About
Dennis Roy joined the Boston Symphony Orchestra at the beginning of the 1993-94 season. Roy was previously a member of the National Symphony Orchestra from 1990 until the time he joined the BSO. He was also a member of the Rhode Island Philharmonic and Springfield Symphony Orchestra and performed as a substitute player with the Boston Symphony Orchestra and the Portland Symphony Orchestra. A Tanglewood Music Center Fellow in 1987 and 1989, Roy also attended the Boston University Tanglewood Institute in 1983 and 1984. He is a 1989 graduate of New England Conservatory.
