Join BSO Music Director Andris Nelsons and violinist Gil Shaham for the first installment of our “Art of Conducting” series and see how a conductor shapes the rehearsals, the relationship between the orchestra and guest artists, and the sound and feeling of the performance itself.

Regrettably, Hilary Hahn has had to withdraw from her July engagements on doctors' orders. She is suffering from a double pinched nerve and is unable to perform. We are thankful that acclaimed violinist Gil Shaham was available on short notice to replace her at this event.
